Ok.. .short version.... I'm a mess, I officially have been diagnosed with Crohn's disease, which is the same thing Lucia has. Since my birthday, July 28, I've had 3 proceedures and they all have sucked.
On a happy note.... I'm still above the ground! And I live in IL =) Hey I'm getting there... its about the journey not the destination

So who has which? And which do yourecommend? I know nothing about Dish Network and they come in and install it for free and it's only $55 a month for 100 channels, all 4 rooms gets dish, 1 DVR, and one of the boxes has a splitter on it.
I'm a bit lost....
And how much internet do my roommate and I need?
Options-
20$ a month I get 1.5 Gigs
25$ a month gets 3 gigs
Do we really need more than that?

This year I've been busy!
In March I committed genocide... Sorry about that,giselc (-5000 points). In June I helped ordinary hide a body (-173 points). In August I helped gnomeydacook across the street (6 points). Last Wednesday I put money in dnecrosis's expired parking meter (14 points). In September I caught a purse-snatcher who stole clownfish13's purse (30 points).

On Aug 5th I wrote about my friend Kari Imhoff who was battleing Lukemia.
Kari fought hard, but this morning she passed away. She is now a bright light for all of us to follow and look for in our world.
Please... pray for her family... her daughter... for her peace

What time of year you may ask...
Well it's Colonoscopy time! WOO HOO!
I tried about a month ago to take the liquid "cleanser" and all I could do was get about 2oz of the gallon down, so they cancelled it and now I get to have it this Thursday.
I'm so thrilled....
Anywho.. I am going the pill route this time and it's a first for me. When i picked up the meds from the pharmacy I was shocked that it was $60 for 28 pills! And then when i opened the bottle I just about passed out. Look at the size of these things!
I have to take 20 pills starting at 5:30. 4 pills every 15 minutes with 8oz of water each time. And then another 8 at 9:30 with more water.
Think of me fondly over the next 2 days as I get only liquid! Good times! Oh and running into the bathroom. Thank goodness for babywipes!!

I wanted to pass along some information to you about a dear friend of mine who I have worked with for the last 4 years. Kari lives in Crystal Lake, IL and is an amazing woman! She is only 34 years old and has a 15 month old daughter. On February 24th 2007 she collapsed and was rushed to the hospital. They then learned that Kari was diagnosed with Leukemia. It was a shock to her, her family and her friends. After radiation treatment, she was told that she was in remission and they found a perfect match as a bone marrow donor. Though she has now has another setback: they found out that the cancer had spread to her spine and is causing her a lot of pain and they cancelled her transplant. She is back in the hospital going through Chemo all over again.
I am asking for you to visit her website and leaver her words of encouragement. You don't know her, but wouldn't getting a note from someone you never met, and you learning that a stranger is praying for YOU lift YOU up?

Woo Hooo! Booked and loaded! Time to cruise again. I'm so excited that Don an I get to go on a real vacation without any cell phones or computers to tie us to the real world.
